Today, everything is entertainment, and entertainment must be relevant. This is especially true in the world of corporate events and meetings. Our guests, employees and clients MUST be entertained, even in the learning environment of a sales meeting or new product launch.  So how do we adapt to the new corporate norm of social responsibility?  We must be creative.  We must embrace new ideas even when our budgets have been slashed.  Our call to action came almost 2 years ago when corporation entertainment suddenly became taboo.  Who knew that one poorly timed incentive trip to the St. Regis Hotel would rock our world….and not in a good way.  So what do you do when your business world is changed forever? You re-invent yourself.  Gone are the days of superstar acts being casually brought into a corporate meeting.

This incredibly challenging new environment led us to be creative in a socially responsible way, and to develop programs that service the client. We have to be relevant AND  fun!  Our first event featuring this new concept went to contract the first week we introduced it.  That’s when we knew we were onto something big.  The program featured two  contestants from the hit show “Top Chef” and engaged the employees in a Top Chef Team building exercise.  We were able to use their education and dinner budgets to  creatively leverage a wildly successful program.  After seeing the success of Top Chefs To Order, we developed our exclusive Dancing Under the Stars program featuring  dancers, celebrities, contestants and judges from “Dancing with the Stars” and “So You Think You Can Dance”. With these unique programs we are promoting an overall  theme of Health and Wellness for both the employees and even the community at large.  We offer fitness classes, dance instruction and headline performances.  Both programs can be used for community outreach where we include kids and their families in healthy eating and cooking, fitness, and dance classes. We love offering programs  that add to the quality of our guest’s lives, and well as those in need.  The possibilities are endless!   Check out all our programs at Smartt Entertainment New Ideas.
